Terence Tao (IQ 230)
Terence Tao found math exciting even as a toddler, at the age of two he was able to solve complex tasks, by the age of nine he had completed math courses at university level and when he was 13 he won the gold medal of the International Math Olympiad.
At the age of 20 he did his doctorate at Princeton, four years later he became a mathematics professor at the University of California (UCLA) and finally took over the management of the mathematics department there.
Since then, Tao has written over 200 scientific articles on additive combinatorics, Ramsey theory, analytical number theory, random matrices, and partial differential equations.
Marilyn vos Savant (IQ 228)
The US writer, columnist and financial expert Marilyn vos Savant is considered the smartest woman in the world - was in the Guinness Book of Records. She grew up as the daughter of German and Italian immigrants in poor conditions in St. Louis. During her school days, vos Savant took various intelligence tests, each time getting the highest possible score, but her teachers considered her intelligence to be a "useless quality," according to Savant. Instead of studying, Savant got married at the age of 16, later she studied philosophy and worked as an investment banker, she lives in Manhattan, is married to her third marriage.
Christopher Hirata (IQ 225)
When he was 13 years old, he won the International Physics Olympiad, for which three difficult questions had to be solved within a 5-hour test. At the age of 14 he enrolled at the renowned California Institute of Technology, and at 16 he was already working with NASA on a Mars project.
