An account can be individually identified with the Steam ID, because the sequence of numbers is unique. With a few simple steps you can read out your own Steam ID either directly via Steam or via a browser. You can then use this, for example, to determine the value of your Steam account.

  1. Open your Account menu top right and select "View my profile".
  2. Make one Right click and choose "View source code".
  3. Look over [Ctrl] + [F] to "steamid".
  4. The number next to "g_steamID"is your Steam ID.

  1. Sign in to the Steam desktop app. At the top left, click "Steam"and then on"Settings".
  2. In the settings window you have to click on "surface"Click. Then check the box on the right next to"Show Steam URL address bar if available". After you have ticked this box, you can close the window again.
  3. Then click yours in the upper right corner Username and then on "View my profile". At the top of the bar of your profile you will now see a very long number displayed - your Steam ID.
  4. If you do not see an ID there, but a user name (you have specified), you have to copy the entire bar. Then open a browser and paste the url there. At the end you have to "? xml = 1Write "(without quotation marks).
    An XML document is now displayed. The point <steamID64>[Nummer]</steamID64> shows your ID. All you have to do is read the number.
