1. How long can I register online? Can I do this after the semester has started?

Here you can find out when you can register for the modules and courses and what needs to be considered for courses with limited space: (please click).

Attending the first dates of a course does not require that you have already registered online. A binding online registration is only required at the end of the registration period. Please note, however, that the registration or the subsequent allocation to courses with limited number of places takes place at the beginning of the semester and afterwards it is only possible to register for the free capacities.

ATTENTION: Outside the registration period, only the examination office for the core subject can book new modules and courses for you after checking the special reasons for not registering on time.

2. How and by when can I deregister from individual courses and modules?

During the registration period, it is possible to unsubscribe independently via the web interface. The current dates for the registration period can be found here: (please click).

You can deregister from complete modules including the associated exams and courses, but also only from individual courses within a module. After the registration period has ended, you can only go through the eachresponsible examination office for the core subject or module offer can be canceled, stating reasons for specific courses as well as complete modules.

3. Do students of the Magister and Diplom courses or courses with state exams also have to register in Campus Management?

Students of the bachelor's and master's courses, as well as students of the modularized political science diploma and veterinary medicine students register via Campus Management. Diploma, Magister and other degree programs with state examinations (as veterinary medicine) are currently not supported by Campus Management. See also FAQ 5

4. After registering, I get the message that the student **** is not enrolled, not re-registered or is on leave, although I am matriculated, re-registered or no longer on leave.

If you register at a point in time at which the semester of your enrollment or re-registration has not yet started, then you are of course not yet enrolled or re-registered in the current semester. The winter semester starts on October 1st and the summer semester on April 1st. The same applies to the leave of absence. If this is not the case, please check whether your degree program is supported by Campus Management. In all other cases, please contact the info service hotline of the FU Berlin on the phone number 838-77770 or by e-mail to: [email protected]

5. Where can I find out whether my course is supported by Campus Management so that I can register online?

The current status of the bachelor's and master's programs supported by the system can be found here: (please click)

6. Do I now register for my courses exclusively via Campus Management?

Basically, you only register online via Campus Management. However, some departments and central institutions have their own registration procedure in addition to the campus management system. Please inform yourself in good time in your department or the central institution which procedure you need to use to register. If you need to register in a system other than the campus management system, you must also register in the campus management system.
